Youth4Society organization in cooperation with 7 partner organizations from Europe implemented a Key Action 2, Capacity Building Project titled: Power of theatre-Act your Human Rights which included a series of events on theatre tools &human rights education.
The project aimed to empower 8 youth association from EU and Western Balkan who work in human rights and inclusion by supporting youth workers with different effective tools on theatre, enhancing the participants awareness on how certain minorities, groups of individuals are socially excluded on the basis of their status.
The main objectives of the project were :
- To raise understanding of human rights education and promote inclusion among youth workers/activists using theatre as a powerful tool;
- To explore xenophobia, discrimination and intolerance issues
- To promote InnoLab techniques, theatre and non formal education approach among practitioners who are working with youngsters with fewer opportunities
- To promote Erasmus + (Youth) programme as a tool for active participation of youngsters in community life
