Explore Y-AGORA: the project, activities and latest updates<\/a>.<\/p>\n Y-AGORA \u2014 Youth Agoras: Bridging Generations and Empowering Citizenship Across Europe \u2014 is an Erasmus+ capacity-building project connecting partners in Albania, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Serbia. Its activities support youth participation through non-formal learning, dialogue and local civic action.<\/p>\n Youth workers, educators and youth leaders explored democracy, inclusion, communication, empathy, media literacy, collective action and mentoring. Activities included a Local Youth Agora simulation, stakeholder mapping and Forum Theatre, preparing participants to support Local Y-Agoras.<\/p>\n In June 2026, Youth4Society invited nine young people aged 18\u201330 living in Albania to apply to the Local Y-Agora. The call described research, surveys, focus groups, dialogue with stakeholders and development of a Local Action Plan. The application deadline was 5 July 2026; this call is now closed.<\/p>\n In September 2026, the project published factsheets presenting community research findings from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Serbia. They explored young people\u2019s participation, barriers to engagement and examples of local practice.<\/p>\n Dates below refer to publication of each update, which may follow the activity itself.<\/p>\n Y-AGORA is funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ Programme.<\/p>\n Archived training-course announcement.<\/em><\/p>\n This course was planned in Albania for 30 youth leaders and youth workers from the European Union, Turkey, the Euro-Mediterranean region, South-East Europe and the Caucasus. It aimed to promote tolerance and mutual understanding between young people from different communities and religions.<\/p>\n The programme focused on the importance of dialogue in multicultural and multireligious communities. Participants\u2019 varied backgrounds were intended to create opportunities to exchange ideas and experiences, enriching learning for both participants and trainers.<\/p>\n Through non-formal learning, equality and human-rights education, the course aimed to deepen understanding of religious diversity and develop problem-solving skills for responding to prejudice, stereotypes and racism.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Explore recent Y-AGORA activities and the earlier projects that form part of Youth4Society\u2019s history.
